Hook'd Up Fishing Charters and Captain Michael will take you out to the local waters in Matlacha, Florida to try for an inshore slam! Targeting many lovely species, you'll have an action-packed trip on the captain's comfortable and safe boat. Captain Micheal has been fishing for over 20 years locally and he's excited to share his knowledge with you and take you on the water for a day you won't forget!
Your boat for the day will be a 17' Keith's Marina center console with room for up to 4 guests. It runs on a 90 HP Yamaha engine, has got a livewell to provide you with live bait, and features an ice-box so you can store your fish and drinks during the trip.
The species you can go after include Mangrove Snapper, Snook, Redfish, as well as Spotted Seatrout. You'll attract them by using light tackle popping and drift fishing and you're free to decide if you'll keep or release the fish you catch. Kids are welcome to join your trip, so feel free to bring them as well and make it a lovely family stay in nature.
Captain Michael supplies you with all the rods, reels, tackle, live, bait, lures, and water. He also covers you for fishing licenses and will clean your catch if you want him to. Just bring something to eat and you'll be ready for the adventure.

We had an awesome day out on the water with Captain Mike. My brother, my dad, and I went out fishing in the bay outside of Fort Myers and it ended up being an unforgettable trip. Captain Mike was not only a great guide but also a great teacher. Throughout the day he explained how fish think, why they move the way they do, and gave us a ton of useful tips and lessons we’ll definitely take with us on future trips.
We started the day fishing for trout, and somehow my dad ended up hooking into a shark which made things pretty exciting right off the bat. Captain Mike kept things fun the whole time, telling stories and making sure everyone was learning and enjoying themselves. He also made sure to take great photos of us throughout the trip so we’d have some awesome memories to look back on.
To finish the trip he took us to a spot that was loaded with red drum that he calls “fire trucks” because of how hard they fight and he wasn’t kidding. Those fish were an absolute blast to catch.
Overall it was an amazing experience and well worth the money. Captain Mike is a great dude, a great teacher, and someone who really cares about making sure you have a good time. We caught a lot of fish, learned a ton, and had an incredible day on the water. Highly recommend

Tory, Man what a great day, We had the rods bending and drags peelings non-stop. What a fun group you guys were. I enjoyed getting you guys on the water and on the fish, we had great converstation, a ton laughs and smiles all over the boat. A trip to always remember, also great review !!! Great Guide!! Great down to earth guy!! Definitely will go again with him. The fish gates were open , mother nature and the knowledge of the Mike produced! Great for the experienced and novice anglers.
