Diego Cadena is a true reflection of Sayulita’s passion and love for the ocean. Born and raised in the town, Diego comes from a family of surfers and fishermen. He started fishing at the young age of seven, learning the trade from his father. As he grew older, Diego’s love for the ocean continued to grow, and he eventually became a professional surfer, sponsored by several brands, including Billabong International. His natural ability to ride waves and his deep connection with the ocean helped him become one of Mexico’s most recognized surfers. In addition to surfing, Diego is also known for his exceptional spearfishing skills. He has refined his techniques over the years and has become one of the most skilled spearfishermen in the region. His knowledge of the ocean, fish species, and hunting techniques has made him a valuable resource in the community, and he is always eager to share his passion for the sport with others. All of Diego’s experience and passion come together in his business, where he shares his love for the ocean, spearfishing, and fishing with visitors from around the world. Through his lessons, tours, and his famous ceviche, Diego aims to showcase the beauty and richness of Sayulita’s ocean culture while inspiring a deeper appreciation for nature, adventure, and a healthy outdoor lifestyle.
