We booked a 3-hour guided fishing trip in Hawaii with my wife and daughter, and it turned out to be such a fun family experience. The conditions were a bit windy and the waves were strong, but that just made it feel like a real ocean adventure.

I caught a triggerfish, my wife landed a goatfish, and one of the coolest moments was when the crew let me reel in a shark that we hooked — such an adrenaline rush and definitely a highlight of the trip! Even though our daughter didn’t catch one this time, she still had an amazing time watching sea turtles, a seal, and sharks swimming around the boat — plus she got a nice little nap in with the ocean breeze.

The crew really made the trip special. They were friendly, knowledgeable, and always ready to help, which made everything easy and enjoyable for beginners and experienced anglers alike. We felt well taken care of the entire time.

Definitely recommend this trip for families or anyone looking for a fun day on the water. We’ll absolutely be back next time!

Fantastic!!! And then some…

3 Hour Trip – Bottom Fishing Shared on фебруар 7, 2026 • 2 adults

Weather was not ideal, but this boat said “lets go for it” and we did. We fish “a-lot” and this was one of those days where you had to be there. 6 on the boat, and we hooked up to a Wahoo on the troll right out of the harbor. Got him on deck, and headed out to do some bottom fishing. Plenty of Trigger fish, a few Goat fish, and it was a great afternoon. The captain and crew were extremely fun and knowledgeable. All in all, we surpassed all expectations. We planned on just doing a trip because we were visiting from the mainland. But this will go down as a very memorable trip. We even got to pull on a few sharks for a while. You should’ve been there.

Trigger Fish!

trip was great! captain Yulia and deckhands Pearl and Josiah were knowledgeable and attentive. very enjoyable trip. caught bunches of trigger fish and were able to catch’n cook. Was a great way to spend 3 hours. Went as a couple and we had a blast. boat provides everything, ok for all experience levels. boat provided squid for bait. if you want anything else, bring your own bait. would book again!

To say I had a great time would be an understatement. The crew and experience was amazing. Good music, great attitude, and smooth sailing. Plenty if fish were caught, and i was even able to take one home for dinner.

I\nTook my son , who is 7 for his first ocean fishing trip. He was so excited to catch his first fish that all the boat cheered when he reeled it in. The captain played a good assortment of music and was able to put us on the fish each time he stopped the boat.
