Brannon Charters did a great job of communicating with me before our trip. We had some bad weather come through early morning and they adjusted our time instead of cancelling the trip .My son and I had a great time , great experience. These guys know the area well and have nice set up.Will definitely book again next year when my family returns to the beach.

Captain Michael had us reeling in redfish within 5 of leaving the dock! He was great with our 7 year old and kept all three of our lines baited. We caught flounder, croaker, pinfish, baby black tip sharks, and a bunch of redfish, which he filleted for us to eat that evening. This was our second trip with Michael and we'll be back next year!

Fish the flats with Capt Michael

A great day on the water with Capt Michael. Knowledgeable guide, methodical approach and somehow knows where the fish are. Our trip had too much wind and was not too long after a recent tropical storm come through so normal fishing patterns were off. It didn't stop Capt Michael we still found and caught fish. More than any other boat on the water that day.
Fishing the flats is a great trip and Capt Michael gets into his high chair and can literally direct you where the fish are because he can see them. Really a great trip if you've never done it. I'd caught my first Black Drum on this trip so crossing that one of my list.
I was amazed twice on this trip. First was when we stop at a spot and were told to cast into an area because there's Red Drum that run through there...sure enough my buddy hooked one right away...first cast. Second was cruising to a new spot we suddenly stop and Capt Michael says let's take a minute and try this spot and see if we can get some Black Drum. Really? the thought crosses his mind to stop the boat and cast into an area for Black Drum? Okay. I'm out here fishing I don't care what I catch but to call the fish like that?!?!? First cast...bites and lost bait. Second cast...biggest fish of the day and you guessed it...a Black Drum!
Capt Michael would be great for experienced anglers and those looking to introduce their kids to the fun of fishing. An all-around great day on the water.
