Stormy Petrel Charters vas dočekuje u Haterasu za nezaboravan dan pecanja. Stormy Petrel II je 56' DMR walkaround, stabilan brod sa mnogo više prostora na palubi od većine čarter ribarskih plovila. Kao takav, imate veliku prednost kada je u pitanju pecanje sa dna i lako možete pecati sa desetak ili više štapova sa jedne strane broda. Njegova širina od 16' takođe znači više prostora preko krme za trolling, što je zgodno kada se jato Mahi pojavi iza broda. Tu je i prostrana gornja paluba gde gosti mogu da se odmore ili da pomognu u osmatranju ribe. Kapetan Brajan ograničava svoje ture na otvorenom moru na 12 putnika, a ture blizu obale na 20 putnika kako bi obezbedio dovoljno prostora i smanjio zapetljavanje struna.
Brodski twin 500 HP Cummins QSC 8.3 dizel motori su instalirani 2017. godine i omogućavaju udobnu brzinu krstarenja od oko 16 čvorova - sasvim dovoljno za Hateras - sa više rezervne snage ako vam zatreba. Ovi moderni Tier 3 motori su izuzetno tihi i bez dima, a uz to su i najefikasniji.
Posada nudi tri vrste izleta. Ture na otvorenom moru su isključivo 10-časovne čarter ture i idu do Golfske struje. Na ovim turama, i pecanje sa dna i površinski trolling mogu biti produktivni u zavisnosti od uslova. Ture blizu obale idu do okeana tik uz plažu i/ili zaliv Pamliko u blizini Haterasa, u zavisnosti od uslova na moru. Na većini ovih tura, trolling se vrši malim mamcima za skušu i bluefish. Dvočasovne ture u priobalju ostaju u mirnim vodama zaliva Pamliko i takođe su trolling ture.

Great early season trip!

We had a fantastic experience fishing out of Hatteras aboard the Stormy Petrel II with Capt. Brian and first mate Danny.
They did an incredible job taking care of our large group and made the whole trip smooth, fun, and stress-free. The boat itself was sturdy, clean, and very well maintained — we felt comfortable the entire time.
Even being early in the season, they put us right on the fish. We caught plenty of bluefish and had a blast doing it! Danny was great about helping everyone out, keeping lines in the water, and making sure we were all having a good time.
You can really tell they know what they’re doing and take pride in giving people a great experience.
Highly recommend — we’d absolutely book with them again!

10 Hour Gold Stream

We had 10 guys on this trip. Captain Brian and first mate Danny were excellent. We caught our snapper limit in the first 2-3 hours of being on the water. Their help was great. We caught Red Sapper, Wahoo, Kobia, zamber Jack, and Mahi Mahi. The only feedback I would give is the morning debrief on how to use the rods was hard to hear over the roar of the engine so most of our group had to learn on the fly while we were fishing. All in all a great successful trip!

Thanks for fishing with us Lee. I’m glad you enjoyed the trip. We are only allowed to harvest the Red Snappers a couple of days each year, so you definitely picked the right day!

A Great Fishing Day at OBX

After doubtful weather forecasts this turned out to be one of the best fishing charters we’ve had. Captain Brian and First Mate Danny were great hosts! On top of their professionalism we pulled in King Mackerel, Bluefish, and Seabass. We’re now planning a return later in the season.

60 fish caught in 4 hours! Over 90 pounds of Blues and Spanish Mackerel! Fish were biting as soon as we dropped our lines. Captain Brian and First Mate Danny were great to work with. Boat was clean, well appointed, and BIG. We were a group of ten and twice as many people would have had plenty of room.
