Harvester Sportfishing

Book your next trip with Harvester Sportfishing and find out what makes the fishing in Huntington Beach so unique. Having logged many hours on these tides, Captain William is prepared to put you on fish.
Depending on the time of year, you might hook into Calico Bass, Yellowtail Amberjack, Bluefin Tuna, Yellowfin Tuna, Dolphin (Mahi Mahi), and who knows what else!
During the trip you might be light tackle fishing, trolling, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
You'll be welcome aboard a 35' Sportfishing boat that holds up to 6 passengers. It comes with outriggers, all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. There's a toilet on board for your convenience.
Rods and reels are not supplied for you, so ask the captain about bringing your own or renting some for an extra cost. Be sure to ask about bait and lures as well.
Trips are run with the help of a First Mate. Mates work hard to make your trip count, so a 10–20% tip is customary.
Before coming aboard, you may need to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.
You can't go wrong when you bring bottled water, sunscreen (non-spray), and sunglasses. If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
