The Local Charter is the newest addition to the long standing fishing tradition at the Avalon Sportfish Center.
Captain John and his family have fished these waters for nearly 30 years -

The vessel "JakerBoy" is a 45' Tiara Express with twin, CAT12 turbo diesels and beautiful interior, lots of room and comfort. JakerBoy is named for Captain John's son Jake who left us too soon back in 2021. His memory is honored everyday with this name sake and the wonderful stories Captain tells of his years of fishing with his son.

Captain John and Captains Bill are amazing, Highly recommend fishing with them. Conditions weren’t great and they still found us fish to catch. Look no further this is the boat you want to be on! We’ll be booking again
