If you're ready to have fun fishing in Galveston, we've got you covered with 409 Charters. With Captain Connor at the helm, you're in knowledgeable and experienced hands.
For all of our Bay/Wade trips expect to fish for Speckled Trout, Redfish, Flounder, Sheepshead, Black Drum and more. We will also be offering some near-shore State water trips where you can expect to make a run for Red Snapper, Cobia, or Tripletail depending on when you go and that days conditions.
Depending on the species you're after, you may find yourself spinning, popping, jigging, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
Families making a day of it will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! If you don't have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there's one on board. And, you can't go wrong with snacks for a boost of energy when needed!
Capt. Connor welcomes you aboard a 24' Skuta Cat with capacity for 5 passengers. It comes with all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. Rods, reels, and tackle are included.
You will need to buy a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.
It's never a bad idea to bring sunglasses, and sunblock (non-spray). Drinks will be available for you. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
