Great Fishing Day!

Luke is a very experienced boat Captain and fisherman to say the least! Luke is very accommodating thru-out the trip and makes sure your having a good ti me and are comfortable doing it. We caught plenty of fish to share ! So, if your thinking of booking a fishing trip I definitely recommend Captain Luke Higgins. Dont miss it! The highlight of your Florida Keys fishing adventure!

Caught a 6’ Nurse Shark today!

What a treasure to find Capt Luke and his boat nearby our hotel wirh plenty if parking. i had mistakenly booked the wrong date but Luke fixed it. Great communication back and forth while we watched the windy conditions we had forcasted. Comfortable boat handled the waves very well. I highly recommend using Capt Luke for your fishing charters, very reasonable and capable. My 25 year old son is an avid fisherman and was thrilled to catch a 6’ nurse shark, along with numerous other fish. We’ll be back! 🐟😎 Paula and Max

Captain Luke did a great job of catering to my 70+ year old parents and to my 15 year old daughter. He was receptive to the needs of my dad who has Parkinson's, and is an experienced boater and angler but hasn't fished in 3 years bc of his condition...until this experience with Capt Luke...how wonderful to see him in his element, happily catching yellowtail for 3 hours! In addition the booking system, openess to personalized trips/needs, cost and location made this a WONDERFUL experience! My parents will book again this season in Key Largo, and we will when back down next year!

Great Captain & Boat, especially for families

Luke was fantastic. Extremely knowledgeable and good with anglers of all skills and ages. We caught 4 keeper black tuna and about a dozen other small fish on a 5 hour trip. I brought my 12-year-old son who is a decent fisher and my 10-year-old daughter that never fishes. Both had a great time and reeled in some fish. Luke also recommended a restaurant that would cook the fish for us locally. Boat is comfortable with decent seating & bathroom - both must for kids. I’m certain we could’ve weny after bigger game without the kids.

Great Guide

4 Hour Trip – Captain's Choice - 8:00 AM on април 2, 2026 • 2 adults • 2 children

We were fishing with 2 kids and the forecast was windy. The guide contacted us the day before to see if we would like to cancel knowing that we had kids and less than ideal weather. We chose to try it out and he was able to put us on fish. Will try again this charter again on our next trip and hopefully the weather is a little better!
