We had an amazing time on our fishing charter! Captain Q was incredibly knowledgeable and clearly knew all the best spots. He made the experience enjoyable and easy to follow, even for those of us who weren’t experienced anglers.
What really stood out was how great he was with our teenagers—he was patient, upbeat, and kept them engaged the whole time. They had a blast reeling in fish and learning the ropes, and they haven’t stopped talking about it since.
The boat was well-equipped, the vibe was relaxed and fun, and we all felt safe and well taken care of. Highly recommend this charter for families or anyone looking for a great day of fishing with a captain who knows his stuff and makes it fun for everyone!!

Another great trip with Captain Q! He is is so great with children. He is very knowledgeable and always has a back up plan if fish aren't biting. We caught alot of fish, mainly Vermillion, trigger fish, along with other species. We got to interact with alot of dolphins as well which was great for the kids. highly recommend Southern Strike and Captain Q.

I think y’all so much and every year is as exciting as the year before. I look forward to going fishing with your family every year and it never lets me down. I know the weather was kind of unpredictable at first, but we found a weather gap and we punched offshore and got the job done. And I think y’all so much for working with me and being so patient as I dealt with mother nature. Can’t wait to see you all again next year!

We did the night inshore fishing trip. It was myself and my kids. Captain Q was very knowledgeable about everything we needed to know. He was great with my kids and taught them the right way to catch the fish. I didn’t catch her name but his first mate was great also with us. They were very attentive to all our needs. We will definitely be back next year.

I couldn’t stress enough how much fun we had with captain Q , one of the best , if not the best , fishing trip that my family had experienced. Captain Q is a one of a kind guy , it felt like he has been in the family for years. We will be returning to Captain Q for every fishing trip we take in the Pensacola bay!!
