came to roatan for my honeymoon and the whole trip was amazing. but the fishing was a different experiance got to hook up on a couple of bonitos and a barracuda while trolling, and did some deep sea fishing as well and my while hooked up on two more barracuda and had the biggest one of the day, also go to hook up on a black fin red snapper, and another type of red snapper. a great experiance in total and amazing captain and first mate.

We had such a fantastic day on the water with Roatan Reef Explorers and Captain Joseph! These guys were incredibly kind, funny, super knowledgeable, and especially great with our young son—they made the whole experience fun and relaxed for our family. While we didn’t catch everything we were hoping for, Captain Joseph worked hard to get us to the best fishing spots and kept things entertaining the entire time. The snorkeling was absolutely beautiful and a highlight of the day. Highly recommend this tour if you’re looking for a fun, memorable experience in Roatan!

My family and I were in Roatan for the day on a cruise. I arranged this fishing trip in advanced and I'm very glad that I did. Joseph was waiting for us and had us on the water fishing very quickly to make the most out of the day. He was very knowledgeable of the waters and area in general. After a fun day of fishing Joseph recommended a nice seafood lunch restaurant and other local activities. He made sure we were back to the ship in plenty of time. The whole family enjoyed the day and I highly recommend this fishing charter.

Joe and his mate, Aaron, were great hosts. Finding Joe at the port was very easy. His van was air conditioned and it was a short drive to the boat. The boat was perfect for the trip. Joe was really nice and personable and easy to make conversation with. I really enjoyed his company and learning about him and the island. Our trip was great and I caught tuna and barricuda! I would absolutely recommend this to anyone for a great fishing experience. As a female solo angler I felt very safe and comfortable. A family joined me on the trip and I would expect that they would have the same great experience.
