King's Sportfishing Adventures is all about fishing the stunning waters of Superior. Your guide for the day is Captain Matt, giving you access to years of knowledge and experience.

These waters are known for Brown Trout, Lake Trout, Rainbow Trout (Steelhead), Salmon, Chinook Salmon, Coho Salmon, Walleye, and more – with any luck, you'll hook into a few! On these trips, it's common to troll.

Families making of day of it will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. Also remember to bring snacks!

You'll be fishing aboard a 27' Sea Ray cuddy cabin that holds up to 6 passengers. It has downriggers, and everything you need for a productive day on the water. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. Rods, reels, and tackle are included, as well as lures.

A First Mate will be there to make sure everything is running smoothly. It's customary to tip the Mate 10–20% to show your appreciation.

Before coming aboard, you'll need to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.

It's always wise to bring sunblock (non-spray), a hat, and sunglasses. If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but you should avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

Fishing with Matt

Went on my first charter ever today and I could not have been happier with how it went you can really tell Matt and his partner have a ton of experience with fishing and navigating the awesome waters of Lake Superior they knew everything from how fast to drive what direction to go what bait to use and how to set it up how deep to fish what water temperature to be in how to set the hook and how to effectively real your catch in their tips and guidance was why our crew had so much success and such a blast and they were super friendly and fun to talk to they had an awesome boat and top notch equipment and poles and I loved how you could really tell how much they wanted us to have the best chance we could at catching as many as possible by changing bait and depth accordingly as they figured out what was working well and they even cleaned the fish for us at the end witch was very nice I can’t express enough how thankful and happy I am with how our trip went I would definitely recommend these guys to anyone looking to charter on Lake Superior thank you for an awesome experience Kings SportsFishing Adventures

Great Day on Lake Superior

5 Hour Trip – Seasonal Walleye (AM) on август 4, 2025 • 3 adults

We had a great time with Captain Matt and Steve on Lake Superior. We wanted some walleye and they worked hard to get some. We also caught some trout, salmon, and even a catfish. We'd recommend these guys to anyone.

The captain & mate had expert knowledge about fishing in Lake Superior & the bay. We hit a rough weather day, but still managed to catch some great walleye. We would highly recommend this charter!
