Make an adventure out of your next trip in Funchal and go fishing with Island Boats Rentals. Having logged many hours on these tides, your captain is prepared to put you on fish.
These waters are home to Great Barracuda, Amberjack, Wahoo, Gray Triggerfish, Albacore Tuna, and more, depending on the season. For these species, you're likely to troll and bottom fish.
If you're traveling with the family, youwill be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! If you don't have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there's one on board. Also remember to bring snacks – luckily, Island Boats will have some on board!
Your trip begins aboard a 15' Pioner center console with room for 3 passengers. It has everything you need for a productive day on the water. Your captain will provide rods and reels, along with lures.
There's no need to buy a fishing license, just show up ready for some fishing! Some fish have special regulations, including when you can keep them. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish.
A few items to bring include sunglasses, sunblock (non-spray). Drinks are included, free of charge. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. There will be some light snacks for you on board.

Best fishing charter experience!

The crew was amazing and we got to keep our fish and cooked it for dinner! They were very helpful and we caught a bunch of fish, a couple of red snappers, a duck fish, one bonita and a few groupers. Me and my boufriend went on the smaller boat, they offered an upgrade for comfort but the small boat was just fine! We really enjoyed the conversations as they spoke english well, and were very friendly. As well as making sure the water conditions were good for us the day we booked.

Sortie sympa, Arnaud le skipper du bateaux se donne vraiment du mal pour essayer de vous faire prendre du poisson. Il connait bien son sujet et ne font pas semblant pour les touristes comme j'ai déjà pu le voir ailleurs. On voit qu'il aime la pêche et c'est à mon avis le plus important. À conseiller !

Esta mañana salimos a pescar con mi hijo de 6 años. Pasamos una hora pescando al curricán, luego dos horas pescando con caña y finalmente otra hora más al curricán. La pesca estuvo muy bien para ser la primera vez que mi hijo salía a pescar; el equipo fue genial!

Amazing fishing experience in Madeira

Really great experience on the water. The skipper was friendly and professional, and the trip was well organized. We caught some red snapper and barracuda and enjoyed beautiful views along the coast. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a fun fishing trip in Madeira.
