WildCard Sport Fishing Charters has a trip with your name on it along the stunning waters of Oakville.

These waters are known for Atlantic Salmon, Chinook Salmon, Coho Salmon, Lake Trout, Rainbow Trout (Steelhead), and more – with any luck, it won't take long to hook into some. You'll target your catch by fishing with heavy tackle, trolling, or maybe something more specialized in this area.

Families making a day of it will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available. Otherwise, you should bring your own. Snacks are permitted onboard — bring your favorites so that nobody gets cranky on an empty stomach!

Your day begins aboard a 27' Trophy Pro walkaround that holds up to 4 passengers. It has downriggers, and all the essentials. You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, along with lures. Brined bait "herring" is on board to make sure we have all the chances at landing that fish of a lifetime.

There will be a First Mate on board to help your trip run smoothly. Mates often work for tips, and it's customary to offer them a 15-20% tip.

Before coming aboard, you'll need to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain.

It's always wise to bring sunblock (non-spray), a hat, and sunglasses. Drinks are included, free of charge. There will be some light snacks provided on board.

Pleasant experience

Captain Scott is very knowledgeable, welcoming, and fun. I'm an Engineer, so I was curious about all the process and he politely dumbed it down to me so I could understand all the details.
We didn't have luck with fish, but it was a very pleasant experience overall. Scott made arrangements for me to come back at another time when fish are active and biting.

Capt Scott and his mate Andrei know Lake Ontario . They fish it every day . Spacious and clean boat with top of the line equipment . His gear cost more than my boat . He let me bring my dog on the trip and we brought home plenty . Caught several huge lake trout and a couple salmon . Trip was supposed to end at 730 and I was hinting it’s time to go . Cap’s reply was “it’s about fish o’clock and this is when we get a big one . 15 minutes after that we got a big salmon . Most guides try and have you back on the dock when your time ends . Not these guys . They fish until you ask to come in and then they fish some more . Book before he doubles his rates

Had an absolutely awesome time on this fishing charter with Captain Scott and Andrew. They were incredibly knowledgeable and made the whole trip both fun and informative. We caught three big fish and learned a lot along the way. They were professional, friendly, and very safety-conscious, which really helped us relax and enjoy the experience. You can tell they love what they do. Highly recommend this charter—can’t wait to go back!

Incredible fishing trip!

We had an amazing trip with Captain Scott and Andrei! Landed some nice big Coho, Rainbow Trout, and King Salmon , truly unforgettable.

Despite a sudden weather change, Andrei kept us in the action by constantly switching baits, and techniques, while Captain Scott scouted new spots to maximize our chances. These guys know what they’re doing!

Both were professional, friendly, and clearly love what they do. Highly recommended, we’ll definitely be back!

Amazing fishing trip!

We bought this fishing trip for my brother in law and his girlfriend and they had an absolute amazing time, they’re already trying to gather friends to book another fishing trip!! The captains greeted us at the gate in the morning, very friendly and outgoing! They had an amazing time all around and we absolutely recommend this fishing charter experience! Bucket list experience for sure.
