These waters are known for Striped Bass (Stripers),Hybrid Striped Bass, Largemouth Bass, Spotted bass, White Perch, Crappie and more.  Lake Hartwell is an amazing fishery for stripers/hybrids. Hartwell is a year round fishery but it fishes especially well December to the end of August. On the day of your trip you're likely to fish live bait or cast lures using light tackle.

Families will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available based on the weight of your child, otherwise you should bring your own. Snacks are permitted onboard — bring your favorites to keep their stamina going!

Your adventure begins aboard a 25' custom Hell's Bay center console bay boat with capacity for 6 passengers. It comes with all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. Rods, reels, and tackle are included, along with lures and Live Bait.

Before coming aboard, it will be necessary to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group over 16 years old. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain.

Don't leave home without sunglasses, bottled water, and sunscreen (non-spray). If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
