Around here it's common to catch Cutthroat Trout, Coho Salmon, Rainbow Trout (Steelhead), Sockeye Salmon, Yellow Perch, Sturgeon, Pink Salmon, Chinook Salmon, Chum Salmon, and more, depending on conditions. During the trip you might be spinning, trolling, jigging, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
Families who love fishing together will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. Also remember to bring snacks to ward off any mid-trip fatigue!
You'll be dropping lines from a 24' Alumaweld fishing boat with room for 6 passengers. It comes with downriggers, and all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. Rods, reels, and tackle are provided, as well as lures. Live bait is available, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.
Before coming aboard, you'll need to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.
It's recommended to bring sunglasses, bottled water, and sunblock (non-spray). If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

My wife & I are experienced fishermen from Texas. James was incredibly knowledgeable of all the species and Washington state as a whole. We had such an amazing trip catching tons of fish and having great conversation. He had everything prepared and even things prepared that we didn’t think we needed (I.e. heater, extra jackets, place for wife to go bathroom) amazing trip and will go with him again whenever we have the ability!!

Capt. James was great. He knew the lake, had his technique dialed in, gave us clear tips and quickly put us onto fish. The boat is comfortable with plenty of space (there were 4 of us). Informative, good sense of humor and most importantly, knows how to get you onto fish! Highly recommend.
