On these trips, it's common to bottom fish using light or heavy tackle.

Families who love fishing together will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. And, you can't go wrong with snacks to stay fueled throughout your trip!

You'll be dropping lines from a 24' Avenger bay boat that holds up to 4 passengers. It comes with all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. Capt. Chase has rods and reels for you.

You will need to get a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.

It's recommended to bring a hat, sunglasses, bottled water, and sunscreen (non-spray). If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
