Fishing with Pedritos is all about fishing the stunning waters of Playa Del Carmen. Having logged many hours on these tides, Captain Pedro knows them forwards and back.

These waters are known for Spanish Mackerel, Yellowfin Tuna, White Marlin, Skipjack, Dolphin (Mahi Mahi), Great Barracuda, Gray Triggerfish, Swordfish, Blue Marlin, Horse-eye Jack, Sailfish, Wahoo, and more – with any luck, it won't take long to hook into some. You'll target your catch by trolling, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.

Your fishing machine for the day is a 25' Imemsa center console with room for 6 passengers. It has outriggers, downriggers, a fighting chair, and all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. Your captain will provide rods and reels, as well as lures. Live bait is included, but it's good to ask about this so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.

Trips are run with the help of a First Mate. Mates often work for tips and it's customary to offer them a 10–20% tip.

The charter boat covers your fishing license, so all you have to do is look forward to your trip! Keep in mind that some fish may have harvest limits or closed seasons. If you don't know what to expect, ask the captain.

Don't forget to bring sunglasses, a hat, and sunscreen (non-spray). Drinks will be available for you. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. There will be food and some light snacks provided on board.
