If you're going to cast a line in Puerto Aventuras, look no further than Capitán Killer. Captain Killer will be your guide, so you'll benefit from years of professional experience.
These waters are known for Amberjack, Mahi Mahi, White Marlin, Blue Marlin, Pompano, Sailfish, Mutton Snapper, Blue Shark, Red Snapper, Yellowtail Snapper, Shortbill Spearfish, and more – with any luck, you'll have tight lines in no time.
On these trips, you can expect to troll and bottom fish. Capt. Killer can also have you gigging. For the more adventurous among you, there's spearfishing and bowfishing.
You'll be welcome aboard a 32' Beltrán sportfishing vessel with room for 8 passengers. It has outriggers, downriggers, a fighting chair, everything you need for a productive day on the water. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. What's more, this vessel is wheelchair accessible. You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, along with lures. Live bait is on offer, but it's good to ask about this so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.
There will be a First Mate on board to help your trip run smoothly. A 10–20% tip is customary to show your appreciation for their hard work.
The charter boat covers your fishing license, just show up ready for some fishing! Keep in mind that you may release some fish due to regulations. Simply ask and your captain can tell you more.
It's always wise to bring sunscreen (non-spray), and sunglasses. There will be some drinks on offer, but let the captain know if you wish to bring your own. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. There will be food and some light snacks for you on board.

Went out with Captain Julio and crew into some less than ideal conditions. 5 ft seas, strong winds, and sargasso everywhere. We had 6 people total, 3 men and 3 women. Crew was fantastic and worked hard to keep us comfortable and on fish. Boat immaculate at all times. Highly recommend!
Thanks to everyone for fishing with me. You pay to fish, and it's only fair that you catch something. And if the fishing is slow, I'll give you two free hours.
