Walleye, Largemouth Bass, Smallmouth Bass, Muskellunge (Musky), Northern Pike, Sunfish, and more inhabit these waters, depending on conditions. On the day of your trip you're likely to troll and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle.
Trips with RBM Fishing Charters are great for kids, so feel free to make a family day out of it! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. Also remember to bring snacks!
Your boat for the day is a 18' Tracker aluminum fishing boat that holds up to 4 passengers. It comes with downriggers, and all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, as well as lures. Live bait is available, but you should ask the captain whether you'll be catching it yourself.
You will need to buy a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.

I booked a 4 hour trip with Captain Richie. It was a Christmas present for my 10-year-old grandson, who talks about fishing constantly. It couldn't have gone better. My grandson outfished me and the Captain. 11 fish included largemouth, smallmouth, rock bass, and a couple slab bluegills. My grandson still hasn't stopped talking about it. A priceless memory.
had a wonderful time sir, that young man is absolutely tore up with fishing. he sure whooped us today. hope to have you both out on the water again sometime.
Highly Recommend! Fishing started out slow and the wind was really kicking, but Captain Richard worked hard to put us on the fish. Put a ton of gigantic blue gill ( 2 over 10 inches) and some great bass in the boat. My son’s birthday wish was to catch a walleye, and Richard went above and beyond — even staying out an extra hour to make it happen. We ended the day with a huge walleye to close out the trip. Incredible service, unforgettable memories. Can’t thank him enough — 10/10 would fish with him again!
