Red Snapper trips- Please book either 10 or 12 hour trips to get to the red snapper fishing grounds (40-60 miles offshore). Federally permitted red snapper season 2026- June 1st - October 26th.
Mother Ocean Charters is your ticket to the stunning waters of Bradenton. With Captain Kyle, a Sarasota native with over 20 years fishing expertise, at the helm, you'll have a knowledgeable and experienced guide.
With Mother Oceans "adventures your way" policy you can rest assured that this will be the perfect trip. We can accommodate everybody. Because we are federally permitted for fishing we can run way offshore to catch the big ones! We can hit the sandbar and cool off. Stop by and check out the dolphins or even watch the sunset.
During the trip you might be casting, trolling, jigging, bottom fishing.
Young ones are welcome, so get 'em offline and onto the water! If you don't have a child-sized life vest of your own, we normally keep a good selection on board. Also remember to bring snacks to maintain your energy throughout the trip!
Your adventure begins aboard an air conditioned 36' Hatteras Sportfish Convertible with room for 6 passengers. It comes with all the essentials and top of the line electronics including sonar, radar, and bottom scan for the best chance of success. Your captain will provide rods and reels, along with bait. Live bait is normally caught on the way out depending on the trip.
The charter boat covers your fishing license, just show up ready for some fishing! Keep in mind that some fish may have harvest limits or closed seasons. Your captain will help you follow regulations. If you do want to keep your catch we will fillet and bag it up.

We went on a Cousin’s trip and had our fishing adventure with Captain Kyle and Ethan, we made lots of memories, we all caught a bunch of fish. Our fishing poles never ran out of bait, they took us to great fishing spots. I highly recommend him for any fishing trip, we took the 8 hour trip and enjoyed every moment. We will definitely use him again when we are in the area, I cannot give them enough stars for all their hard work. We caught fish and he grilled it on the boat for lunch, and the remaining fish he cleaned and bagged for us to go home.
