Here you won't be far from nearshore waters, including a few honeyholes that only the locals can clue you in on.

Your guide specializes in heavy tackle fishing, which is what you'll be doing on the day of your trip. Solomon will provide rods and reels.

Depending on the time of year, you might hook into Tiger Shark, Hammerhead Shark, Blacktip Shark, Bull Shark, Goliath Grouper, Gummy Shark, Lemon Shark, and anything else that bites.

As many as 12 people are welcome on these excursions. You'll be fishing without a boat, so expect to make your way on foot at least part of the time and come dressed for current weather conditions.

Your fishing license for the day is not included, so members of your group may need to buy one. You can find out more online, including exceptions that may apply. Layered clothing and appropriate footwear are always encouraged (if you aren't sure what that means, just ask). It's never a bad idea to bring sunblock, and sunglasses in any weather conditions.

Solomon will have some snacks and drinks for you. Ready to have the whole family unplug? Then you'll be glad to know that kids are more than welcome. They should always wear life vests, so find out if Solomon has the right size available or bring your own.
