The Dangling Angler 

Spend the day with The Dangling Angler and get hooked on fishing in Wrightsville! Captain Jason will be your guide, allowing you to benefit from their angling experience.

Depending on the time of year, you might hook into Catfish, and anything else that bites. You can expect to do some spinning, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.

Your boat for the day is a 16' Smoker Craft jon boat with space for 2 passengers. It has all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, along with lures. Live bait is included, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.

Before coming aboard, it will be necessary to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.

It's recommended to bring bottled water, sunglasses, and sunscreen (non-spray). If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
