El Pescador Fishing Charters is here to help you experience the stunning waters of Seal Beach. With Captain Gustavo at the helm, you'll benefit from years of knowledge and experience.

These waters are known for Rockfish, Calico Bass, California Sheephead, Sand Bass, Halibut, Pacific Barracuda, Skipjack, Bluefin Tuna, Yellowtail Amberjack, and more – with any luck, you'll find out for yourself! On these trips, you can expect to troll and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle. Capt. Gustavo can also show you kite fishing.

Families who love fishing together will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. You're welcome to bring snacks to keep their stamina going!

You'll be welcome aboard a 25' Defiance pilothouse with capacity for 6 passengers. It has all the essentials no fishing machine can run without.

Capt. Gustavo has rods and reels for you, along with lures. Live bait is included, but it's good to ask about this so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.

Before coming aboard, it will be necessary to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.

It's always wise to bring bottled water, sunblock (non-spray), and sunglasses. If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
