The crystal-clear waters of Porto Cesareo, on the Ionian coast of Salento, offer the perfect setting for an authentic fishing experience. With A Pesca Col Bomber, you’ll be guided by Captain Francesco, a local expert who knows these waters inside out and will take you to the best fishing spots.
Depending on the season, you may target species such as Amberjack, Barracuda, Bluefish, Dentex, Mahi Mahi, Seabream, Tuna, Grouper, and more. Techniques will mainly include trolling and bottom fishing, using light or heavy tackle depending on conditions and targets.
Families are welcome on board, and kids can safely enjoy the experience as well. If you need child-sized life jackets, please request them in advance. Bringing snacks is also recommended to stay energized throughout the trip.
Your adventure takes place aboard a 7.50 m (24’7”) Beluga 22 inflatable boat, fully refitted and equipped with professional electronics. The boat can accommodate up to 10 people, but for fishing comfort, the recommended number is up to 4–5 guests.
All fishing equipment is provided, including rods, reels, and lures. Live bait is usually included, but it may also be caught during the trip, adding to the overall experience.
Before the trip, you will need to obtain a local fishing license, which can be easily arranged online or with the captain’s assistance. Some species may be subject to regulations or restrictions.
We recommend bringing sunglasses, a hat, sunscreen (non-spray), and bottled water. If you’d like to bring additional drinks, please ask in advance. Alcohol is not allowed on board.

Francesco ist super, wir haben einen Familien-Angel-Ausflug gemacht, obwohl wir noch nicht viel Erfahrung mit dem Angeln haben hat alles super geklappt. Dank ihm, er hat uns super geholfen, das Boot ist toll, wir können diesen Angelausflug allen empfehlen, top!
We trolled offshore and caught some beautiful mahi mahi - fun half day adventure! Boat easily fit 4 people. Very organized, new equipment.
Francesco is a very nice guy, very friendly and very carefull with his clients! He is doing all king of things in order to catch some fish! higly recomand!

Using bottom fishing, spinning, popping, trolling, drifting, jigging, and other techniques, you'll have a chance to catch Javelin Grunter, Dolphin (Mahi Mahi) and Bluefish. The only way to learn is to join them on the water.
