Species you can catch around here include Mutton Snapper, Mahi Mahi, Black Grouper, Lane Snapper, Mangrove Snapper, King Mackerel (Kingfish), Jack Crevalle, Yellowtail Snapper, Spanish Mackerel, and more with any luck.
You'll target your catch by spinning, trolling, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
Thinking of bringing the whole family? Kids are absolutely welcome! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. You're welcome to bring snacks for a boost of energy when needed!
You'll be dropping lines from a 31' Pursuit center console with space for 6 passengers. It has outriggers, and all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. Rods, reels, and tackle are covered by the charter. Live bait is included, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.
There's no need to buy a fishing license, just show up ready for a good time! Some fish have special regulations, including when you can keep them. Simply ask and your captain can tell you more.
Some essentials to bring are sunglasses, sunscreen (non-spray), and a hat. Drinks are included, free of charge. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

Amazing private charter experience with Capt. Jesus Estrada and JD Outdoors in Key Largo.
Offshore Reef/Wreck Fishing Trip on мај 1, 2026 • 2 adults
I took a full-day trip with two close friends, and it was the best private charter I’ve ever done. Capt. Jesus is a genuinely humble, kind, and highly knowledgeable captain who worked hard all day to make the trip successful, even on a day with zero current. We still managed to catch over 30 fish, which says a lot about his skill and effort. The boat was excellent, the atmosphere was great, and the whole experience exceeded my expectations. I would absolutely book again, and for the first time I’d feel comfortable bringing my family and small child aboard.

Wonderful morning charter!

Captain Jesus was the perfect captain for our charter! We have two kids 6 and 9 and weren’t sure how they would do with a longer deep sea fish. The two hour 8 am was perfect for us and Captain Jesus was great. Too windy for going farther out so we stayed in the back country and caught Mangrove Snapper and a Snook! I highly recommend Captain Jesus, we will be booking with him again next year!

We had a blast! Thanks to captain Jesus, who not only showed to be a very skilled fisherman and a great captain, he was also a very nice person to spend the day with. We caught multiple fish, from small to big and we even managed to catch a nurse share! It was a great experience and recommend everyone to do it as well!

Amazing Sunset Trip!

Majestic time on the water. Absolutely beautiful. Capt. J is great guy, knows exactly what he's doing. We only had a short window, so went straight to a really productive spot inshore. Caught a fire outta some snappers. PB for me. Some monsters showed up to. Definitely recommend 👌.
