Moore Fishing is all about fishing the stunning waters of Oregon City. Having logged many hours on these rivers , Captain James can tell you all about them.

These waters are known for Rainbow Trout (Steelhead), and more – with any luck, you'll hook into a few! Depending on the fish you're after, you may find yourself light tackle fishing, trolling, drifting, or maybe something more specialized in this area.

Capt. James is happy to have kids aboard, so go ahead and bring the whole family along! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. Feel free to bring your own snacks for a boost of energy when needed!

Your boat for the day is a 18' ClackaCraft drift boat with space for 3 passengers. It has all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, along with lures. Live bait is included, but you should ask the captain whether you'll be catching it yourself.

Before coming aboard, you may need to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.

It's never a bad idea to bring sunblock (non-spray), sunglasses, and bottled water. If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
