These waters are known for Striped Bass, Catfish, Bluegill, Spotted Bass, and more – with any luck, they'll make your reel scream. On these trips, you can expect to troll using light tackle.
Trips with M.O.A Guide Services are fun for all ages, so feel free to make a family day out of it! If you don't have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there's one on board. Don't forget to bring snacks!
You'll be dropping lines from a 21' Tracker aluminum fishing boat with space for 4 passengers. It comes with everything you need for a productive day on the water. You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you.
You will need to buy a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.
You can't go wrong when you bring sunglasses, bottled water, and sunblock (non-spray). If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is not allowed.

Had an absolute blast with MOA Fishing Charter on Lake Conroe! If you’re looking for non-stop action and tons of catfish, this is the charter to book. From start to finish, everything was dialed in—great communication, top-notch setup, and a captain who clearly knows this lake inside and out.
We were on fish almost immediately, and the bites just kept coming. It was one of those trips where you lose count because the rods are constantly bending. Whether you’re a seasoned angler or someone just looking to have a fun day on the water, MOA makes it easy, exciting, and memorable.
Professional, knowledgeable, and just an all-around great experience. Lake Conroe delivered, and MOA Fishing Charter made sure we took full advantage of it. Highly recommend—I’ll 100% be booking again! 🎣🔥

Before you arrive make sure you are hydrated and you use the restroom as there isn't one on the boat or by the dock. Our guide (Okey) told us to arrive at a certain time and wear comfortable clothing and closed toed shoes and he would take care of the rest and he did! 😃
The ride out to the first spot was beautiful. ♥️ Between the three of us, we caught around 70 catfish, not including what was thrown back. Okey made sure our hooks always had bait on and took what we caught off and put them in the cooler. We booked a couple more trips and had a great time each time. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ all the way!
