The fish in these waters include Brown Trout, Brook Trout, Rainbow Trout (Steelhead), Cutthroat Trout, and more. On the day of your trip you're likely to drift using light tackle. Capt. Hunter also offers fly fishing, but you may need to bring your own fly gear.

Any fish caught on these trips will be released.

Looking to get the whole family outdoors? Kids are absolutely welcome! If you don't have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there's one on board. Also remember to bring snacks for a boost of energy when needed!

Your boat for the day is a 14' Rio Craft drift boat with space for 2 passengers. It comes with all the essentials. Rods and reels are not covered by the charter, so ask the captain about bringing your own or renting some!

You will need to get at least a day fishing license ($14 for non resident) before the trip. They are sold at the Trading post in encampment or multiple locations in Saratoga. Some species may be off limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.

Don't forget to bring sunglasses, and sunscreen (non-spray). There will be some drinks on offer, but let the captain know if you wish to bring your own. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. There will be some light snacks available on board.
