Spend the day with Dailey Charters and let them show you what makes the fishing in Gulfport so memorable!
The fish in these waters include Jack Crevalle, King Mackerel (Kingfish), Cobia, Atlantic Sharpnose Shark, Blacktip Shark, Redfish, Spanish Mackerel, Speckled Trout, Bull Shark, and more if conditions are right.
You can expect to do some spinning, trolling, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
Planning a family adventure? Kids are absolutely welcome! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. You're welcome to bring snacks so that nobody gets cranky on an empty stomach!
Your trip begins aboard a 30' Island Hopper sportfishing vessel with space for 6 passengers. It comes with all the essentials. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. What's more, this vessel is wheelchair accessible. You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you. Live bait is available, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.
A First Mate will be there to make sure everything is running smoothly. Mates often work for tips and it's customary to offer them a 10–20% tip.
Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, so you can drive right over and come aboard without any hassle! Keep in mind that some fish may have harvest limits or closed seasons. If you don't know what to expect, ask the captain.
You can't go wrong when you bring sunblock (non-spray), a hat, bottled water, and sunglasses. If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
Now, come aboard with Dailey Charters and get hooked!
