These waters are known for Dolphin (Mahi Mahi), Blackfin Tuna, Wahoo, Sailfish, and more – with any luck, they'll make your reel scream.
On these trips, you can expect to troll and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle. Capt. Kyle Michael can also have you kite fishing.
Trips with Legacy Sportfishing are kid-friendly, so get 'em offline and onto the water! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Feel free to bring your own snacks to keep up those energy levels!
Your boat for the day is a 27' Center console with space for 4 passengers. It comes with outriggers, everything you need for a productive day on the water.
Your captain will provide rods and reels. Live bait is on offer but be sure to ask about it so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.
Trips are run with the help of a First Mate. Mates often work for tips and its customary to offer them a 10–20% tip.
Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, so all you have to do is look forward to your trip! Some fish have special regulations, including when you can keep them. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish.
It's never a bad idea to bring sunglasses, bottled water, and sunblock (non-spray). Drinks will be available for you. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. There will be some light snacks provided on board.
