Walleye, and more can be found in these waters if you cast your line at the right time of year. Depending on the species you’re after, you may find yourself spinning, trolling, drifting, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.

Hook'in Hogs Fishing Charter is a child-friendly charter service, so go ahead and bring the whole family along! If you don't have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there's one on board. Snacks are never a bad idea for a boost of energy when needed!

You'll be welcome aboard a 30' Defiance pilothouse that can carry up to 6 passengers. It has all the essentials. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. Rods, reels, and tackle are covered by the charter, along with lures.

There will be a First Mate on board to help your trip run smoothly. A 10–20% tip is customary to show your appreciation for their hard work.

Before coming aboard, it is necessary to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.

Don't forget to bring sunglasses, bottled water, and sunblock (non-spray). If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
