Captained by local Hunter Griffeth, who's been fishing these waters for the past 15 years he knows these waters like the back of his hand and will ensure you that he'll do whatever it takes to put you on the fish!
Speckled Trout, Flounder, Black Drum, Redfish, Sheepshead, Black Seabass, Bluefish (Tailor), Spanish Mackerel, King Mackerel (Kingfish), Weakfish, Ladyfish, Cobia, and more inhabit these waters, depending on the time of year.
On these trips, it's common that inshore we fish light tackle on marsh flats, around oysters beds, creeks and docks. Nearshore we like to troll and bottom fish using light tackle, and fishing over artificial reefs and ledges
Reelgoodtimezcharter welcomes kids aboard, so go ahead and bring the whole family along! If you don't have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there's one on board. Snacks are never a bad idea so that nobody gets cranky on an empty belly!
You'll step aboard a 18' Bay boat with space for 3 passengers. It comes with all the essentials.
Capt. Hunter will provide rods and reels for you, as well as lures. Live bait is included, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.
Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, just show up ready for a good time! Be mindful that some species may have special rules or limited seasons. If you don't know what to expect, ask the captain.
It's always wise to bring sunglasses, bottled water, and sunblock (non-spray). A case of water is included, free of charge. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

Capt Hunter isyoung but experienced! He was punctual, professional, knowledgeable, and fun. He helped us find fish when other boats in the area struggled. He has all the equipment you need and provides a good relaxing vibe. Very trustworthy and responsive. I left my wallet on the boat after fishing and didn't realize it until the next day. Capt Hunter met up with me to deliver my wallet with pleasure. I look forward to fishing deep with him on my trip to the area.

Hunter is amazing. Not only he do a great job as our captain he had patience with m 10 year old hephew. i talked to him about his travels and life i general. He is very knowledge and a great gentleman. we have already made our minds up to come back i the fall. He was so easy to talk to and always made sure we were good. Had a great half day of inshore fishing with Hunter. He was very accommodating to the type of fishing I wanted to do. Very knowledgeable of the area and immensely informative. He went out of his way to try different techniques of fishing to make it a great trip. I definitely recommend this young man for his local fishing knowledge, tenacity and great attitude. Give him a try, you won’t be disappointed.

My husband and i went and had an awesome experience!! would definitely recommend to other fishers out there! Hunter was an amazing charter captain:) got us on to the fish right away! this trip is good for everyone all ages. He provides everything such as the bait, water, poles, fishing license, etc. He also took the time even though we were past the two hour mark to cut up our fish for us! will definitely go back:)

We had an excellent time with Captain Hunter. He took us to different locations for different species. It was fun watching all the Spanish Mackerel jumping out of the water. My son and I both caught a couple different types of fish.
