Chicago has a fish with your name on it, so let Morgan Vessels help you catch it! Having logged many hours on the Chicago River, Captain James Morgan knows it forwards and back.

The fish in these waters include Largemouth Bass, Smallmouth Bass, Catfish, Northern Pike, Crappie, White Bass, Bluegill, Yellow Perch, and more if conditions allow.

On these trips, anglers will try various techniques in the heart of downtown Chicago. We will be trolling walls, using slip bobbers with live bait at various spots, and casting anything the angler desires.

You'll be dropping lines from a 17' Jon boat that holds 1 passenger for comfort. It comes with everything you need for a productive day on the water.

You'll find rods, reels, and tackle/lures waiting for you. Captain Morgan will have seasonal live bait as well. Please let us know if you have any specific equipment requests and we will try our best to accommodate.

We included the fishing license fee in booking price and we will license angler before departure. Please be mindful that some species may have special rules or limited seasons and that all fish caught are released.

It's always wise to bring sunblock (non-spray), bottled water, and sunglasses. You are welcome to bring your own food and snacks, we have a small cooler on board.
