Make the most of your time in Port Fairy or Melbourne Victoria and go fishing with Pelagics Charters. Captain Simon will be your guide, bringing aboard their sportfishing experience.
You're likely to go after Barrel Bluefin Tuna, school Tuna and Yellowtail Kingfish in the warmer months (January - March)
During the trip you might be fishing with heavy tackle, popping, trolling, jigging, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
Your fishing machine for the day is a 25' Sport fishing vessel with room for 5 passengers (max 6). It has all the essentials. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. Rods, reels, and tackle are ready for you, as well as lures. Live bait is an option if the fish are playing hardball.
There will be two crew on board, skipper and first mate.
You will need to purchase a local fishing license before the trip.
It's recommended to bring bottled water, sunblock and sunglasses (preferably polarised), Comfortable footwear is recommended.
A few beers is ok, please avoid glass bottles.
If sea sickness is an issue we recommend TravaCalm or for people who suffer severe symptoms Scopolamine patches (see your doctor)
Charters will be 8-10 hours offshore and we do our very best to put our clients on the fish.
