Ret graduated from the University of Massachusetts – Lowell in 1992. Following that, he worked as an engineer, including 17 years with the Department of the Navy, providing direct support to the U.S. Navy's nuclear submarine fleet.
For the past 25 years, Ret has been cruising and fishing the waters from Maine to Rhode Island. Additionally, he has captained various vessels, both power and sail, from Florida to Maine and the Caribbean.
