Bluechip is here to help you experience the stunning waters of Portimão.

These waters are known for Black Seabass, European Seabass, Golden Dorado, Atlantic Mackerel, Arapaima, Alligator Gar, Squid, Bluefin Tuna, and more – with any luck, it won't take long to hook into some.

You can expect to do some light tackle fishing, trolling, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.

Any fish you catch are yours to take with you, so long as they meet regulations. Catch cleaning is available, so you can take your fish home to eat. Your next meal doesn't get any fresher than that!

Trips with Bluechip are great for kids, so go ahead and bring the whole family along! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. Snacks are permitted onboard — bring your favorites – lucky for you, there will already be some on board!

Your vessel for the day is a 40' Motor yacht that holds up to 10 passengers. It comes with outriggers, all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. There's a toilet on board for your convenience.

Capt. Bluechip will provide rods and reels for you, along with lures.

There's no need to buy a fishing license, so you can drive right over and come aboard without any hassle! Keep in mind that some fish may have harvest limits or closed seasons. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish.

Don't forget to bring bottled water, sunscreen (non-spray), and sunglasses. There will be some drinks on offer, but let the captain know if you wish to bring your own. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. There will be food and some light snacks included on board.
