Delaware beaches have a fish with your name on it, so let Rooster Sportfishing help you catch it! Having logged many hours on these tides, Captain Jefferson knows these waters forward and backward.

There’s no guarantee when you’re fishing, but some of the species you may catch around here include Flounder, Bluefish (Tailor), Albacore Tuna, Bigeye Tuna, Bluefin Tuna, Yellowfin Tuna, Blue Marlin, White Marlin, Swordfish, and more, depending on the time of year.

You’ll target your catch using spinning, trolling, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.

If you’re traveling with the family, you’ll be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! If you don’t have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if one is available on board. You’re welcome to bring snacks to keep them happy!

Capt. Jefferson runs a 33' catamaran that holds up to 6 passengers. It comes with everything you need for a productive day on the water.

Rods and reels are provided, but ask the captain about bringing your own or renting additional gear for an extra cost. Be sure to ask about bait and lures as well. Live bait is included, but you should ask the captain whether you’ll be catching it yourself.

There’s no need to buy a fishing license, so all you have to do is look forward to your trip! Keep in mind that some fish may have harvest limits or closed seasons. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish.

It’s recommended to bring sunglasses, non-spray sunscreen, bottled water, and a hat. If you’d like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but please avoid hard liquor and glass bottles.
