Depending on the time of year, you might hook into Flounder, Bluefish (Tailor), Striped Bass, Black Rockfish, Tilefish, and whatever else takes the bait.
Depending on the species you're after, you may find yourself spinning, trolling, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
Your fishing machine for the day is a 32' Center console that can carry up to 6 passengers. It comes with outriggers, downriggers, all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. There's a toilet on board for your convenience.
You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, along with lures. Live bait is included, but it's good to ask about this so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.
There will be a First Mate on board to help your trip run smoothly. A 10–20% tip is customary to show your appreciation for their hard work.
The charter boat covers your fishing license, so all you have to do is look forward to your trip! Some fish have special regulations, including when you can keep them. If you don't know what to expect, ask the captain.
It's always wise to bring sunscreen (non-spray), bottled water, and sunglasses. Drinks are included, free of charge. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
