There's a fish with your name on it in Playa del Carmen, and The Rusty Hook Fishing Charter will help you catch it! With Captain Jorge at the helm, you'll benefit from years of local knowledge and experience.

These waters are known for Great Barracuda, Amberjack, Blue Marlin, Dolphin (Mahi Mahi), Goliath Grouper, White Marlin, Red Snapper, Wahoo, and more. With any luck, it won't take long to hook into some of these exciting species.

You can expect to enjoy light tackle fishing, trolling, bottom fishing, or perhaps something more specialized depending on the conditions and season.

Thinking of bringing the whole family? Kids are absolutely welcome! Children must wear life jackets, so please check with the captain to confirm the appropriate sizes are available on board. Customers are encouraged to bring snacks to keep everyone energized throughout the trip.

Your adventure begins aboard a 26' Panga that accommodates up to 6 passengers. The boat is equipped with outriggers, downriggers, a fighting chair, and all the essentials for a great day on the water.

You'll find rods, reels, tackle, and lures waiting for you on board.

A First Mate will be there to help ensure your trip runs smoothly. Mates often work for tips, and it is customary to offer them a 10–20% gratuity.

The charter boat covers your fishing license, so just show up ready for a great time! Please keep in mind that some species may have special regulations or limited seasons. If you're unsure what to expect, ask the captain.

Don't forget to bring sunblock (non-spray), bottled water, and sunglasses. Drinks will be available on board. Alcohol is allowed in moderation; however, please avoid hard liquor and glass bottles. Light snacks will also be provided.
