Depending on the time of year, you might hook into Black Drum, Red Drum, Flounder, Spanish Mackerel, Speckled Trout, Weakfish, Bluefish, Sheepshead, and plenty more.
On these trips, it’s common to fish using multiple techniques on light tackle.
Tight’n Up welcomes kids aboard, so get 'em offline and onto the water! Snacks and drinks are never a bad idea for a boost of energy when needed!
Capt. Cody will bring you aboard a 22' Center console with capacity for 4 passengers. It comes with all the essentials no fishing vessel can run without.
You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you.
The charter boat covers your fishing license, just show up ready for a good time! Keep in mind that some fish may have harvest limits or closed seasons. Simply ask and your captain can tell you more.
Some essentials to bring are bottled water, sunglasses, and sunblock (non-spray). Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
Our boat is trailered, this allows different options depending on weather and where the fish are biting. Locations are Manteo, Manns Harbor and Stumpy Point.

Capt Cody was Awesome! Took my 11 year old son and 13 year old nephew and they had a blast. We caught several different species of fish. Capt Cody took care of us from start to finish baiting hooks, moving to better spots if need be. A great experience and has a great boat. Cant wait to go back!
Cody with Tighten Up Fishing was great. This was my kids first fishing trip on a boat and they loved their experience. Cody did an awesome job interacting and assisting the kids making this great and rememberable experience.
