Join Zeus Nation Adventures for a guided fishing trip in the waters of Limburg and discover one of the most beautiful fishing areas in the Netherlands.
Depending on the season and conditions, these waters offer chances for Northern Pike, Zander, European Perch, Asp, Wels Catfish, and other freshwater species. Whether you are new to predator fishing or already experienced, the trip is built around giving you a relaxed, exciting and hands-on day on the water.
During the trip, you may fish with a mix of techniques such as trolling, casting, jigging, dropshot fishing or fishing with dead bait, depending on the target species and the conditions of the day. Light and heavier tackle can both be used, so the approach can be adapted to your level and the type of fishing you want to experience.
Your boat for the day is a 13' Thor 400 sportfishing boat, suitable for up to 2 guests. It is compact, practical and equipped with the essentials needed for a focused day of predator fishing.
Rods, reels, tackle and lures can be included, so you do not need to bring your own gear unless you want to. Drinks, food and light snacks are also provided on board.
Before the trip, every guest must have a valid local fishing license. This can usually be arranged online, and Capt. Cris can point you in the right direction if needed. Some species may be protected or subject to specific rules, so catch-and-release or local regulations may apply depending on the fish and season.
Please bring sunglasses, a hat, non-spray sunblock and bottled water. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but no hard liquor and no glass bottles on board.

Chris had great communication before the trip explaining conditions, timetable for day etc. he was flexible to the times to launch and where. It was a difficult fishing day as so hot but we caught 2 cracking fish - perch and Zander He was very good with my son- helping and coaching. Equipment was top quality and good condition.
Thank you so much for your kind review! It was a pleasure spending the day with you both. The conditions were definitely challenging, mainly because the river had almost no current, which makes finding active zander much more difficult than usual. We adapted our approach throughout the day and I'm glad it paid off. Seeing your son catch his first zander made the day completely worthwhile, and the big perch was a great bonus. He listened well, stayed patient and did a fantastic job. Thanks again for putting your trust in me. I hope you both enjoy the rest of your trip, and I'd love to welcome you back to the River Maas under more favourable conditions. Or,.. 4 hours from Maastricht in the north of France we can go after some big catfish on the river Moselle.
