You'll target your catch by spinning, popping, trolling, jigging, or maybe something more specialized in this area. Capt. Ismail also offers fly fishing, but you may need to bring your own fly gear.
If you're traveling with the family, youwill be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Feel free to bring your own snacks!
Capt. Ismail welcomes you aboard a 24' Sportfishing with room for 4 passengers. It has outriggers, everything you need for a productive day on the water.
Rods, reels, and tackle are ready for you, as well as lures. Live bait is on offer, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.
There will be a First Mate on board to help your trip run smoothly. Mates often work for tips and it's customary to offer them a 10–20% tip.
You might need to purchase a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.
It's always wise to bring sunglasses, bottled water, and sunblock (non-spray). There will be some drinks on offer, but let the captain know if you wish to bring your own. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. There will be food and some light snacks provided on board.
