Largemouth Bass, Smallmouth Bass, White Bass, Bluegill, Brown Trout, Burbot, , Lake Trout, Yellow Perch, Northern Pike, Rainbow Trout (Steelhead), Salmon, Walleye and more can be found in these waters if conditions are right. Depending on the species you’re after, you may find yourself spinning, trolling, drifting, jigging, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
Thinking of bringing the whole family? Kids are absolutely welcome! If you don't have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there's one on board. You're welcome to bring snacks to keep 'em happy!
Your trip begins aboard a 22' Tracker aluminum fishing boat with space for 3 passengers. It comes with downriggers, and everything you need for a productive day on the water. Capt. Joel has rods and reels for you, as well as lures. Live bait is on offer, but it's good to ask about this so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.
You will need to buy a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.
Don't forget to bring sunglasses, bottled water, and sunscreen (non-spray). If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
