Sea Wave Sportfishing Costa Rica is all about fishing the stunning waters of Panamá.

You're likely to fish for Sailfish, Great Barracuda, Blue Marlin, Roosterfish, Wahoo, Jack Crevalle, White Marlin, Skipjack Tuna, Yellowfin Tuna, Red Snapper, Amberjack, Dolphin (Mahi Mahi), and more if conditions allow.

You can expect to do some spinning, popping, trolling, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.

Planning a family adventure? Kids are absolutely welcome! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. And, you can't go wrong with snacks to maintain your energy throughout the trip!

Your trip begins aboard a 31' Panga that can carry up to 4 passengers. It has outriggers, downriggers, all the essentials. There's a toilet on board for your convenience.

Capt. Sergio will supply rods and reels for you, along with lures. Live bait is included, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.

You'll have the help of a First Mate to put you on fish. Mates often work for tips and it's customary to offer them a 10–20% tip.

You might need to buy a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.

It's always wise to bring sunblock (non-spray), bottled water, and sunglasses. Drinks will be available for you. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. There will be food and some light snacks provided on board.
