Reel Tight Fishing Charters – Sarasota 

this is my 6th trip out with Reel Tight Fishing Carters, and 4th trip with Captain Andy. The kids (4-teenagers) always have a blast. as always Andy got us on the fish, however th fish had other plans. we did catch a couple trout and a ton of saltwater catfish whch are fun to fight and the kids enjoyed the afternoon trip. The extended faimly always waits until we are here to ask my wife and I to take their kids out. We like the morning fishing trips mre than the afternoon, but thats because we all end up napping everyday from beng on the beach or in the pool. I will be better prepared next year and book a couple moning trips early and if they don't want to go, well I know ours will.

This is our 3rd year and 5th trip we have booked with Reel Tight Fishing Charters. We already booked another trip for this week. We had Capt Andy and as always the group had a great time. With two adults and four teenagers on the boat he did a great job. Every spot we went we were on fish. We caught seven species: Trout, Snook, Flounder, Mangrove Snapper, Salt Water Catfish, Jack Crevalle, and a 3ft Bottlenose Shark. Highly recommended, except for the days I want to book, sorry not sorry.

We came all the way from Iowa, just my daughter and I alone. Neither of us having any experience in saltwater fishing and getting onto a strange boat, going who knows where, with a couple of men. That’s kind of unnerving to say the least. Captain Matt and Andy were so down to earth and made us both feel comfortable and welcomed. They kept a very clean boat and both were extremely knowledgeable! They took us from spot to spot ensuring that we both kept busy reeling in some nice fish. They took time to explain things to us and were so patient and kind. I highly recommend these guys and their crews! We have every bit of intention of coming back and fishing with these guys again!

I took my husband to Florida to do deep sea fishing for his 50th birthday. We were so excited!!! Then.... a wretched cold front came thru with high winds (30 mph) for almost our entire trip. First time to Florida where I packed winter clothes. So bummed! But Reel Tight charters went above and beyond to make this happen for us! They rescheduled the day and time for our trip like 4x to get the best day for weather possible. It was sunny blue skies but cold! Low 30s. The weather had the fish acting crazy! We even saw a little shark where it had no business being. poor thing was just trying to survive. The tides were wonky too making the waters shallow. Being from WI, we tolerated the weather just fine. Our Captain was awesome! He tuffed it out like a pro and got us on the fish immediately! Due to the chop on the Gulf, the cold and the wind we were not able to go out on the Gulf. Next time! Still had a blast and my husband loved it! Great company! Great business! Great time! 10/10 would reccomend Reel Tight!

Never chartered a private tour before as a family (w/ 3 children), so we figured it was worth a chance to experience a very "fishy" time of the year near Sarasota Bay. Our Guide Luke was super skilled not only in finding the fish but also baiting and controlling upwards of 5 active rods at once. If a spot wasn't producing a catch, Luke would be quick to identify it and we'd be on the move to another spot...we even got time fishing the mangroves and some docks. The 4-hour tour flew by because it really was not-stop fishing. Plenty of bites...and even had a few keepers by the end. Meeting point was a breeze to get to, and Luke even prepared our catch before we departed the tour. Would absolutely do it again! My only regret is that we haven't taken advantage of this experience sooner!
