Captain Joe's Angling Adventures invites you to fish the beautiful and abundant waters of South Louisiana with Captain Joe Gaudin. You can fish in Shell Beach, Louisiana and have access to the Breton Sound and the Biloxi Marsh area with tons of fishing every season of the year. Capt. Joe is a patient man who makes everyone on board feel welcome and works to make your trip very successful!

The boat is a 24' Blue Wave center console originally built in 2016 with a capacity for 5 guests. It is powered by a 200 HP Yamaha engine, with a maximum cruising speed of 60 knots and it will get you to the fishing grounds fast, safe, and comfortable. The vessel features life jackets for safety, a livewell for the bait, and a GPS used to locate the best fishing spots.

You can fish for great specimens of Redfish, Speckled Trout, and Flounder in the shallower waters, and Black Drum and Sheepshead in the nearshore waters. Capt. Joe normally uses light tackle, trolling, popping, bottom fishing, and jigging techniques. He is a great teacher from who you can learn a lot about fishing.

You'll be provided with rods, reels, and tackle, and you can bring lures. Captain Joe will also have light snacks and drinks on board for refreshment, and he can clean and fillet your catch at the end of the trip so you can take it home for dinner. You are welcome to bring an ice chest, a hat, sunglasses, and lots of positive energy!

Capt. Joe was great. Had live bait and drinks waiting on us at the marina when we arrived. He put us on some fish right at sun rise and we caught them all day long. Would definitely recommend Joe to anyone looking to go down to shell beach and catch some good keepers. Thanks for a great day!

With the bad weather, (rain and windy), Capt. Joe was still able to put my family on to some fish. They not only enjoyed their fishing trip, but also the great hospitality. I highly recommend Captain Joe for anyone's fishing charter trip. Thanks again, Captain Joe....

Found a nice Red

My wife and I fished yesterday. Cpt Joe did all he could to put us on the Reds.  We zoomed to all his personal hotspots.  Winds were somewhat heavy and a factor in the catch. Got some trout, few Sheepheads, and couple of pesky Cats. Taking today off and going again tomorrow. Could not ask for any more. Cpt Joe will work hard and is a pleasure to fish with.

Boys day out with Captain Joe

Captain Joe did an awesome job puttin’ us on the fish. My  13yo son and I hit a variety of specks, redfish, drum and sheepshead. And we hit a bunch! Capt. Joe was very helpful with the tackle, gear, bait, etc. Very nice boat, too! It was fast, smooth and quiet. I will definitely be looking at Capt. Joe’s availability the next time we book a fishing trip!

Best trip ever!!! 4th fishing trip with Capt Joe's Angling Adventures in the past 2 yrs.
Always come BACK to the BEST!!! Definitely booking for June AND July 2021!!! Made some family memories with my son Adrien & 11yr old grandson Stan the man. Caught several Speckled Trout too. It's just the beginning of season .... FISH ON!!!
