Whitsunday Fishing Charters takes you fishing around the majestic waters of the Great Barrier Reef. These fisheries are easily one of the best place to be fishing in the world and the numerous reef attracts scores of fish that are found here throughout the year.
Luckily, the crew has a stable vessel to take you right to the spots teeming with fish. Enter Reef Adventurer, a 39' custom made aluminum fishing boat that can take up to 10 people. The boat will give you a safe ride. She is equipped with a 250 HP Honda engine from 2017 and comes with a set of navigational electronics.
There is a toilet onboard, as well as a live bait well, an ice box, and the safety gear. The vessel features outriggers and carries Shimano Titan rods, Finnor Offshore 8500 reels, 50lb braid and 80lb leaders.
Your trip will take you about 40 nautical miles from the Abel Port marina. The ride takes about two hours and you can sit back and enjoy the view. Just make sure to bring your camera along.
You will target Coral Trout, Red Throat Emperor, Red Emperor, Spangled Emperor, Nannygai, Cod, Spanish Mackerel, Trevally, Tuna, Cobia, and many more reef & pelagic species.

We had a fantastic day! The fellas took us to THE spots, and whole family caught fish after fish. 10 keepers between our group. Thanks for an amazing day WFC!
Our family team of 10 had the most amazing morning. A big thank you and shout out to Dave and Tory those guys are awesome. We were looked after had plenty of laughs loads of fun and put onto the fish. Trout, Trout and more Trout. Can’t fault any part of our charter and are already planning the next one. Highly recommend thanks guys it was a day we will never forget.
