Calabash ribarska flota je kompanija za čarter usluge sa punim servisom koja posluje iz Calabash-a, Severna Karolina. Poseduju i upravljaju nizom prostranih, dobro opremljenih čarter plovila koja mogu prevoziti velike grupe u potrazi za još većim ribama!

Provešćete dan na brodu "Miss Calabash", 46-stopnom atlantskom ribarskom brodu izgrađenom 1991. godine, pogonjenom sa dva Cummins dizel motora koji postižu pristojnih 20 čvorova. Plovilo može da primi 16 pecaroša u potrazi za ukusnom ribom i opremljeno je tehnologijom i opremom za hvatanje najboljih primeraka kada stignete na poziciju.

Plovilo poseduje GPS, sonar, i iskusnog Kapetana Lee-ja, koji će koristiti svu ovu opremu kako bi osigurao da se držite najboljih mesta. Brod ima rezervoar za živu mamce koji možete napuniti svežim živim mamcima (uhvaćenim tokom putovanja) i kvalitetnim Penn priborom koji će vam omogućiti da se izborite sa svime što vam okean pripremi.

A to može biti praktično bilo šta, u zavisnosti od toga gde pecate. Miss Calabash putuje preko 60 milja od obale na svojim najdužim putovanjima, a čak i u plićacima ima mnogo riba koje se snažno bore.

Priobalne vrste uključuju morskog grgeča, lista, brancina i skušu. Na pučini možete upecati sve od velikog groupera i snappera do ogromnih mahi mahi, sailfish i wahoo. Gde god da ste, naći ćete mnoštvo riba za zamrzivač i ozbiljne borbe!

Na kraju putovanja, sav vaš ulov će biti očišćen i isfiletan, spreman za nošenje kući i uživanje. Uobičajena napojnica od 15-20% se očekuje kao nagrada za vrednu posadu. Svakako će je zaslužiti!

wonderful trip.

Excellent trip in every way. Prior to the trip, the captain communicated often with me to provide details and updates. I even had to change the trip date,  which was immediately accomadated. 
For a special shout out to our crew, Alec and Roy, the captain and deck mate. they baited our hooks every time and pulled the fish off of the hooks. They were outstanding. Our little group of 7 people caught over 200 fish for the day. I couldn’t believe how well the fish were biting.  What a fun day we had and can’t wait to go again.

Great day for fishing

It was a beautiful day for fishing. It wouldn’t have mattered if we caught anything or not. It was just nice to be on the ocean with the kids. However, we ended up catching quite a few fish and everyone had a great time. David the captain and Holden the deckhand were amazing and knew right where to go to put us on the fish. I highly recommend this crew.  They were very helpful and instrumental in making this trip unforgettable for my family. Thank you so much guys.

Deep Sea Fishing Trip

My family and I recently went on a deep sea fishing trip - we had a fantastic time! I highly recommend going on the Cyclone with Jordan and Holden, they both were amazing and made the experience very enjoyable! We caught tons of fish to take home, and Holden was even nice enough to fillet them for us! 10/10 would recommend requesting them, they were very helpful and encouraging! We hope to go again sometime! 😊

Bait and Switch

I booked this as a trip on the Miss Calabash because I wanted something smaller than a headboat.  When we arrived, we were told the Miss Calabash had engine issues so we were moved to the Navigator (a headboat). The crew was great, but this is not what we signed up for. Also, the website for the Navigator says that adult tickets are $56. We paid $85 for the smaller vessel and no partial refund was offered. This company should not be advertising the Miss Calabash when that boat is out of commission. I truly felt this was a bait and switch situation.

We took the shorter trip as we hadn't had much experience in ocean fishing. The three of us(myself a 15 and 17 year old) had an awesome time. Caught lots of Sea Bass. Crew was great at keeping us on fish. Next time we will take the day long trip. Jonah filleted the fish we decided to keep. White mild fillets fried in corn hard to beat.
