South Amboy Bluefish (Tailor) Fishing Charters

Spend the whole morning on the water, exploring the Raritan Bay and New York Harbor for Striped Bass, Flounder, Weakfish, Bluefish, and much, much more.

We will be checking out some near shore reef and wrecks looking for whatever is in season!! You could expect to catch Black Seabass, Porgy, Bluefish, Fluke, Etc. Never know what we can find depending on the time of year! This trip is for 4 people

A spring Striped Bass trip. Groups up to 4 people - our boat is only minutes away from the best Striper fishing. Bait, live line, jig, and trolling. If you're looking for dinner or looking for that trophy and photo of a lifetime, this is the place to be. Grab some friends or family and come on out and join our friendly environment. The excitement level and smiles never get old when that rod pops off.

You and the captain will leave at 6:00 a.m. in order to be first out on the grounds. We will troll, jig, liveline, and throw spoons or plugs to put fish in the box. We provide all the gear, so just bring your food and drinks. A 20 percent tip is customary (if satisfied of course).

This trip is for anglers looking to target striped bass specifically with fly fishing gear! Fly fishing gear will be provided or you can bring you own. Afternoon trip finishing up around sunset.

4 hour trip fishing in the calm, sheltered bays of New York City and the NY Bight. Great trip for friends and families of all ages. Experience the world class fishing New York City has to offer. 2 marina locations= less travel time! Up to 4 people. May-September, jumbo fluke will be our primary target species, but we will always have all available gear on board should we decide to pivot and fish for striped bass, weakfish, and bluefish. October and November are all about striped bass.

This is a 6-hour trip. If the bite turns on late we stay. I fish both N.Y. and N.J. waters. I also do tours around Manhattan or Staten Island. Also ash scattering

6 Hour Trip Trips will begin at 6 AM and return around 12 PM. April through June 15th we will be targeting Striped Bass. June 15th to September 20th we will be targeting fluke, sea bass and weakfish. We will resume striped bass and begin fishing for Black Fish November 15th. Please dress accordingly as it is typically 10 degrees cooler on the water. 20% tip for your mate is expected for his time.

Minimum of 8 guests for the trip to take place Rod Rental $5.00 Rigs are $2.00 each (hook & sinker) Free Bait could be live eels or worms, Bunker, ask before hand You can bring your own equipment. Please check in 1/2 hour before scheduled departure or tickets can be voided and no refunds will be given. No refunds for No Shows

This is our 8 hour base trip but we will be happy to schedule a custom trip just for you.
